- Guests are invited to a special champagne viewing of 38 Indigenous art works on loan from leading collector Pat Corrigan. A unique opportunity to go behind the scenes at the SBS Studio to view this significant private collection. Jane Raffan, respected Indigenous art professional, will introduce both the collection and the collector.
Pat Corrigan's collection features paintings by Indigenous artists from across Australia, including APY and NPY Lands, the Western Desert, Utopia Region and Far Northern Queensland. Many of the artists are from the second generation of the famous Papunya Tula Company and include Kintore, Pintupi and Kiwirrkura elders whose work bridges the space between traditional dreaming/Tjukurrpa and contemporary art.
Artists also include the internationally acclaimed Sally Gabori, who at over 80 years old continues to amaze critics with her unique and dynamic style, Makinti Napanangka, winner of the 2008 Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Awards, and senior Pintupi artist, Willy Tjungurrayi, one of the original Papunya artists.
Viewed as a whole, the collection is an insight into the depth and diversity of contemporary Indigenous painting.

The Art of Singleframe
21st March - 5th April 2012 / Audi Centre Sydney
- To celebrate the launch of Audi’s new Contemporary Art sponsorship program, Audi Centre Sydney will be hosting The Art of Singleframe for the first time outside Europe.
The exhibition features a series of sculptural pieces created by students from the Academy of Fine Arts, Bratislava. Each piece reflects the design language of the iconic Singleframe grille currently featured on all Audi models, while indulging in futuristic speculation regarding the very nature of automotive design.
What will happen to this symbolic design feature once the combustion engine is obsolete and electric cars take over? Each young artist has reimagined the Singleframe for a greener future.
Audi Centre Sydney invites you to join us for the exhibition launch at ‘The Lighthouse’, 895 South Dowling Street Zetland, 21 March, 6-8pm.
