Yellow Water Taxis

Sydney Water Taxis are available to and from any part of Sydney’s famous Harbour. For any number of passengers form 1 to 500 passengers... that's right we have completed transfers of up to 500 passengers. What better way to impress your friends by taking them to a Harbour restaurant or to the Opera in style by water taxi.

Online Quotes are valid from between 9:30am til 10:00pm, any transfers outside these times incur additional costs.

The taxis
The majority of the fleet has the capacity of up to 16 passengers but we also have Sydney Water Maxi Taxi - up to 28 passengers in our Yellow Maxi Taxi.

How it works
You book a time and place and one or more of our water taxis will be there waiting. Our water taxis, unlike a normal road taxi, work on exact times; it is more like a limousine / hire car service. Not the first available taxi, you choose the time and place and we will be there waiting at that time.

We can have a Yellow Water Taxi anywhere on Sydney Harbour within 30 minutes; however during peak times we suggest more notice for a booking.

Services available
Our services include, Harbour Restaurant & Hotel transfers, VIP & Corporate Events, Harbour Island Parties, Marriage proposals, TV Film & Movie shoots, Harbour Treasure hunts and "Private charters", what better way to impress your overseas clients!

Approximate costs
Charges are depending on the distance and the number of passengers travelling, although for an average group a fare would be approximately $15 per person. We love kids so kids 4 and under travel free!

Yellow Water Taxis can pickup and drop off at any destinations of your choice. As there are so many destinations, contact us and we will gladly quote for you personally. As a guide see "Rates & Sales Outlets" for costs from Circular Quay and Darling Harbour Bases which are the most popular, but remember we can pick up from any Jetty, Wharf Beach, Pontoon, anywhere from Manly to Homebush Bay.

A popular service operating from our Harbour Bases at King Street Wharf in Darling Harbour & Circular Quay Jetty No.1. This mini tour offers the best value to have a quick look of Sydney’s famous Harbour and a great way to travel to or from Darling Harbour & Circular Quay. Departures every 20 minutes* from 10:00am until sunset!
