Goulds Book Arcade

Gould's Book Arcade has become a Sydney institution - nearly one million books line the shelves of their multi-level store in Newtown. Gould’s are specialists in second hand books, out-of-print books and publishers' remainders.

There are plenty of books suitable for general readers, but more interesting are the large specialist collections including art books, Australian history, left-wing politics, Australiana, military history, science and philosophy.

A visit to the shop would be worthwhile, as many titles will probably never be listed on-line.
