The museum houses exhibitions that explore Australia's links with the sea and how maritime activities and issues have shaped the lives of people in Australia. Some of the outdoor exhibits can be seen from here such as the HMAS Vampire, the Cape Bowling Green Lighthouse and the Endeavour replica.
